Driven by a need to update our professors and teachers, NIIT Ghana Business Director Yaw Amoateng said, \u201cacross the world universities have realized that keeping up with the rate of change in technology and staying relevant is a key ingredient to graduating making graduates job-ready\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ks kt im bn ku kv kw kx ky kz la lb lc ld le lf lg lh li lj lk ll lm ln lo lp gn\"><strong>\u201cThere are still professors at the university level teaching MS Access as their main tool for databases, whereas 90% of all database computation is now done entirely in the cloud.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"e194\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx lq jz ka kb lr kd ke kf ls kh ki kj lt kl km kn lu kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Yaw Amoateng, Business Director, NIIT Ghana<\/p>\n<p data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">In order to meet the demands of industry as they have done in the past, NIIT will be meeting with the Heads of IT Departments across many public and private universities, and understand how to craft a relevant teacher training program that incorporates newer technology.<\/p>\n<p id=\"5c9f\" class=\"ks kt im bn ku kv kw kx ky kz la lb lc ld le lf lg lh li lj lk ll lm ln lo lp gn\"><strong>\u201cIn Asia, over 150+ institutions now outsource their IT curriculum development to NIIT.
