{"id":1467,"date":"2022-04-22T08:36:55","date_gmt":"2022-04-22T08:36:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/openlabs.edu.gh\/blog\/?p=1467"},"modified":"2022-04-22T08:36:55","modified_gmt":"2022-04-22T08:36:55","slug":"openlabss-ghana-partners-with-ghana-tech-lab-to-promote-high-end-technology-programmes-and-entrepreneurship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/openlabs.edu.gh\/blog\/openlabss-ghana-partners-with-ghana-tech-lab-to-promote-high-end-technology-programmes-and-entrepreneurship\/","title":{"rendered":"OpenLabs\u2019s Ghana partners with Ghana Tech Lab to promote high end technology programmes and entrepreneurship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"36c9\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">OpenLabs\u2019s Ghana and Ghana Tech Lab \u2014 Two Tech hubs in the country are teaming up and using shared resources to expand technical training, promote Entrepreneurship and to accelerate the creation of jobs across the region.<\/p>\n<p id=\"b336\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">The two companies announced a partnership earlier last week to expand services with the aim of moving Ghana closer to the digital future.<\/p>\n<p id=\"1ff9\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Ghana Tech Lab is established as a strategic ecosystem hub to promote the position of Ghana as Africa\u2019s number one (\u21161) center for highly-skilled digital human capital, seeding innovations, and growing startups.<\/p>\n<p id=\"7077\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">They provide a free fertile platform for developing and accelerating innovative and promising ideas to achieve a product-market fit that addresses situations in society.<\/p>\n<p id=\"6553\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">The Tech Lab is a joint-venture between Innohub Ghana and Kumasi Hive under the Ministry of Communications Ghana\u2019s eTransform project with funding from the World Bank.<\/p>\n<p id=\"694a\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">In collaboration with Mastercard Foundation, Ghana Tech Lab is also part of the solution to youth employment in Africa under the Pathways to Sustainable Employment (PaSE) Project.<\/p>\n<p id=\"7878\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Clearly, besides the presence of a desire to work as a team, there is also a common goal between both parties as they seek to inspire a digital sense in an entrepreneurial style while giving necessary training towards technological innovation and prowess.<\/p>\n<p id=\"f521\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph ju jv im jw b jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko kp kq kr if gn\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">OpenLabs Ghana has already proven its capabilities in this area with remarkable digital training to Ghana over the past 20 years of its existence.
